Mezcal Pierde Almas Espadín is a great and complex mezcal with flavour notes ranging from sweet and floral to spicy and dry. Pierde Almas is a socially conscious brand with a strong environmental policy. Each bottle is labelled with a hand-made and printed, 100% acid free paper, derived from fibers that are indigenous to the region. The brand also has an agave reforestation programme to ensure their production methods remain sustainable in years to come.

Nose

The bouquet is very fresh with strong floral and fruity aromas.

Body

Rich and silky.

Palate

Multi-layered. The experience begins on a sweet note, with essence of pears, melon and even papaya, before shifting to bitter chocolate and becoming progressively more spicy.

Finish

Long and satisfactorily pleasant. It's possible to detect a hint of smoke and pink pepper on the end note.
